Liz Williams Webb visited us at Wash Park UCC in Denver, both to preach a Sunday sermon and to lead us in a "playshop" (more fun than a workshop!) around what we might dream up for the future of our communal worship and gatherings.
Liz's sermon was well-grounded, relevant to us, and a helpful reminder of the value of finding joy. The Playshop was very useful in drawing out ideas, visions and unnamed feelings that were already present in our community, including our desire to be more playful in our life together.
This work bore fruit months later, when our annual gathering included a flash mob dance! Liz was kind, attentive, and gently thought-provoking in her time with us.
